Greek Interoperability Council
The Greek Interoperability Council, formed in June 2010 by NTUA / Decision Support Systems Laboratory, University of the Aegean / Information Systems Laboratory, Athens University of Economics and Business / ELTRUN, Microsoft Hellas, Oracle Hellas, ATC, Singular Logic, PIRAEUS Bank, Greek Geeks and HSE as an outreach effort designed to address the interoperability concerns of government entities and software companies in Greece and Europe.
Goverment interoperability policy
The technology solutions that support Government Interoperability must operate within a legal and regulatory framework underpinned by policy. These solutions must:
- be readily available and at an affordable cost
- produce tangible business and economic value and impact on users and
- act as an essential enabler for enterprises to innovate and to grow.
Business process modeling and service-oriented architecture
Interoperability of enterprise models; usability of enterprise modelling, in particular its focus on generating flexible, adaptable solutions for Enterprise Interoperability; monitoring of business processes; part of the research areas in service discovery, brokering, negotiation and mediation; interoperability frameworks and architectures, particularly regarding interoperability methodologies.
eGov Technologies Hype Curve
This visualisation is stemming from the work of the CROSSROAD
